Thanks
to our principal's approval, we organized our very own camping. For most of us
its a first time and we really do not know how it will turn out. Luckily, we
were assisted by senior scouts called Rovers in setting up our tents and help
in cooking outdoors. Scout camp activity is organized just like any scout
activity, starting with horse-shoe ceremony, leaders briefing and following
school rules. Then it was only a matter of following the program.
The
camp made us closer as a team. We actually made our own BBQ pit from materials
supplied by the scout leader, cook our own meals and share it with everyone. We
enjoyed the indoor games organized by Skipper Afiq and the guitar singing after
the BBQ. Everyone did what they were supposed to and no one was selfish. We are
glad we had such a proper team or troop with great leader. At the end of the
camp we closed by nominating our own patrol leaders that we chose and we had
group photo of the troop with our parents. It was awesome!
